In fact, more than 90% of maternal deaths are caused by obstetric complications, which are often unpredictable during pregnancy or delivery. The high maternal mortality rate in Indonesia is mostly caused by bleeding (28%), eclampsia (24%), infection (11%), abortion (5%), or obstructed labor (5%). Only about 5% of maternal deaths are caused by diseases that worsen during pregnancy, such as heart disease and chronic infections. This is very concerning, it turns out that from the total cases of post partum bleeding, only 7 people perform ANC regularly, this condition is probably due to lack of knowledge of mothers about high risk of pregnancy, because mothers do not regularly check pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between ANC frequency and knowledge of pregnant women about high risk of pregnancy in PKM Kilasah Serang City in 2018. The method used in this study is an analytical research type with a cross sectional approach. The results of the analysis with the SPSS 12.0 program obtained the chi square value of 18.633 with a probability of 0.000, while the Chi square table at df = 3 was 7.81. The conclusion of the study found that the frequency of ANC had a significant relationship with knowledge about the high risk of pregnancy in PKM Kilasah Serang City in 2018.
