Formulasi Sediaan Pemerah Pipi Sari Kulit Buah Naga Merah (Hylocereus polyrhizus), dan Sari Kunyit (Curcuma domestica L) dalam Bentuk Stick

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to make rouge using natural dyes on the skin of red dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus) and turmeric (Curcuma domestica L). Natural dyes are obtained by smoothing the skin of red dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus) and turmeric extract (Curcuma domestica L). cheek coloring formula made using a combination of red dragon fruit peel juice (Hylocereus polyrhizus) and turmeric juice (Curcuma domestica L) with concentrations of 10% and 2% (Formula I), 20% and 2.5% (Formula II), 30% and 3% (Formula III). The results of the study with a concentration of 10%: 2%, 20%: 2.5% and 30%: 3% produced a homogeneous blush, aroma, color and good smearing power. pH 4-7, rouge preparations do not cause a reaction (irritation) when applied and the concentration that is preferred by panelists is formula III (30%: 3%). The conclusion of this study is that the combination of red dragon fruit peel juice (Hylocereus polyrhizus) and turmeric juice (Curcuma domestica L) can be used as a natural dye, increasing the concentration of the juice used to increase the dark color pigment in the preparation.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat pemerah pipi dengan memanfaatkan pewarna alami pada kulit buah naga merah (Hylocereus polyrhizus) dan kunyit (Curcuma domestica L). Pewarna alami diperoleh dengan cara menghaluskan kulit buah naga merah (Hylocereus polyrhizus) dan kunyit (Curcuma domestica L). formula pewarna pipi yang dibuat menggunakan zat kombinasi dari sari kulit buah naga merah (Hylocereus polyrhizus) dan sari kunyit (Curcuma domestica L) dengan konsetrasi 10% dan 2% (Formula I), 20% dan 2,5% (Formula II), 30% dan 3% (Formula III). Hasil penelitian dengan konsentrasi 10% : 2%, 20% : 2,5% dan 30% : 3% menghasilkan pemerah pipi yang homogen, aroma, warna dan daya oles yang baik. pH 4-7, sediaan pemerah pipi tidak menimbulkan reaksi (iritasi) saat dioleskan dan konsentrasi yang banyak disukai panelis adalah formula III dengan konsentrasi 30% : 3%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kombinasi sari kulit buah naga merah (Hylocereus polyrhizus) dan sari kunyit (Curcuma domestica L) dapat digunakan sebagai pewarna alami, semakin tinggi konsentrasi ekstrak yang digunakan maka semakin gelap pigmen warna pada sediaan.
